Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience through effective upselling techniques.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to food handling and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred. Dealing with people is a skill!
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and payment handling.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with team members in both front-of-house and kitchen settings.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential!
